Opening Hello 2026! & Nieuwjaars borrel

We warmly invite you to join us for New Year’s drinks and the opening of newest group exhibition, on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at 4 PM at OpenArtExchange in Schiedam. The exhibition will be on view until march 7th, 2026. 

Let’s begin the year together by raising a glass to creativity, collaboration, and new artistic perspectives. This festive gathering marks the opening of our first group exhibition of the year and offers a relaxed moment to connect with artists, friends, and the OpenArtExchange community.

Hello 2026! is our newest group exhibition, featuring higlights of our permanent collection. In the unstable political context of the beginning of 2026, this exhibition hopes to remind us that another world is possible, shaped by courage, community and a striving for ideals. The show presents the work of five african contemporary artists, each showing in their own way that other paths exist, who resist fear and conformity, and who fight for what they believe. 

We look forward to welcoming you and toasting to a creative and inspiring year ahead!
