For this year’s Rotterdam Art Week we have launched a special webpage for Art Route Schiedam: Get to know Schiedam’s art offer by means of a route of approximately 5 km along the cultural highlights of Schiedam.
Art Route Schiedam leads through the old city center with its monumental museum quarter, canals, windmills and the old city park. A varied and high-quality art offer can be seen at the locations and performances and activities take place regularly.
How to get there?
Departure at Van Nelle factory: From the Beukelsbrug, take bus 38 in the direction of Schiedam Centrum. The first location is a 10-minute walk from Schiedam Centrum station, or take the tram 51, 54 or 126 and get off at Delflandseweg. The tram stops Broersvest and Koemarkt are also suitable starting points.
It is also possible to get off the water taxi at Schiedam-West (stop 93), then it is a 5-minute walk to the Ketelfactory.
