Artistic Explorations: Discover Schiedam's Creative Pulse at Open Ateliers

SCHIEDAM is rich in artists, studios and galleries. During Open Ateliers Schiedam, on the weekend of 16 and 17 November, there is a workshop route along special places in the city.

Between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. you can meet around 20 professional artists this weekend by visiting their studios and viewing their work. In many cases, of course, their work can also be purchased during this weekend. Activities are also organized in a number of workshops. In addition to the studios, you can also walk into a series of Schiedam galleries to admire a variety of art.

There is also an art raffle: if you see a beautiful work of art in a studio, then add a sticker to it. The most wanted work is raffled off on Sunday afternoon. Stickers for the raffle action are available during the studio weekend at Stichting KunstWerkt in Ruimte in Beweging at Boterstraat 81. This is also where the kick-off and the festive closing of this weekend take place.
